3. Limit turnovers

The first thing that the Cleveland Browns can do to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers is to limit the number of turnovers they commit. In their first meeting, Baker Mayfield threw two interceptions in only 18 passing attempts. There are not many teams you can beat when turning the ball over like that, especially one of if not the best defense in the league.

When playing an elite team like the Steelers ever possession matters. As a result of this, turning the ball over so many times through the air will not be winning the Browns any games.

Along with this, Mayfield could not hold onto the ball last week against the Jets. This could be explained as him missing his offensive line as a couple of linemen missed the game due to COVID. It showed on the stat sheet that they were missed as well. Despite the Jets not having a very good pass rush, they were still able to sack Mayfield four times in their matchup.

Along with the four sacks, the Jets were able to make Mayfield fumble three times and recover those fumbles two times. The Steelers are a much better defense than the Jets both against the rushing and passing game.

The Cleveland Browns must hold onto the ball and avoid interceptions if they hope to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers and make the playoffs.
