Daily Dawg Tags bring you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know

So far this week, the Cleveland Browns have gotten more good news than bad when it comes to player — and coach — availability. They found out they will have head coach Kevin Stefanski back as well as cornerbacks Denzel Ward and Kevin Johnson after they all missed time due to being on the COVID/Reserve list.

As good as that news is, there are still some injury concerns that are putting a cloud over Cleveland’s upcoming game. Three big names all missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday with two of them being starters.

Right tackle Jack Conklin and linebacker B.J. Goodson have been sitting out as has tight end David Njoku. The Browns are facing their toughest opponent of the season and all three of these players are needed if they want to pull off an upset.

The story on these players missing time and more can be found in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.

Jack Conklin, B.J. Goodson, David Njoku remain out of practice for Browns — Myles Simmons, Pro Football Talk

"“Right tackle Jack Conklin (hamstring/knee), linebacker B.J. Goodson (shoulder), and tight end David Njoku(hamstring) all did not participate on Thursday.”"

That makes two days in a row for each of the three players listed but clearly, Conklin is the name to watch. He’s been spectacular at right tackle this season and the Browns will want that right side of the line at 100 percent as they look to shock the Chiefs on Sunday.

Chase Claypool won’t stop whining, calls Cleveland Browns ‘classless’

Sam Penix looks at the latest words from Chase Claypool and realizes that he is 100 percent fine with his teammates insulting teams, disrespecting their logos, and dancing to mock opponents they beat. However, he is not okay with losing as he called the Browns “classless” for beating them.

Odell Beckham Jr. says ‘don’t be surprised’ when Browns win against Chiefs on Sunday — Daniel Canova, Fox News

"“The Browns opened up as 10-point underdogs against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, and most of the United States would put their money on the Chiefs. But Beckham Jr. doesn’t think it’s going to be easy sledding for the defending Super Bowl champions.”"

OBJ has been cheering the Browns on like crazy and while it has to frustrate him to be missing the game as he rehabs his torn ACL, he still believes Cleveland can get the job done.
