Cleveland Browns News
"“Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield says he had a close encounter with the unknown. He and his wife are in Texas, in the Austin area, according to his Twitter page.”"
The best part about all this was the comments on Twitter. People were having fun with it and Colin Cowherd was annoyed. What more could you ask for?
"“I never missed a game in college,’’ Williams said. “I came back and I was like ‘OK, I’m ready to go. I got my feet wet, it’s my time.’’’"
Greedy Williams has struggled with injuries since joining the Browns but hopefully, this will all be behind him now. Sadly, he had to endure some terrible questions about the injury which he discusses in a great interview with Mary Kay.
Breaking down three Browns first-round draft pick options with Mel Kiper Jr. — Jake Trotter, ESPN
"“In this AFC now, with these quarterbacks, they’re the ones you’ve got to beat in order to get to a Super Bowl,” ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. said in a one-on-one phone conversation about the Browns’ draft prospects. “You’ve got to get pass-rushers who can track these guys down and finish. You’ve got to have linebackers that can tackle in space and can cover. And you’ve got to have guys at the back end.”"
Kiper doesn’t get too crazy with his draft ideas, instead, keeps it simple. He wants to see the Browns add a pass rusher, some defensive back help, and a linebacker. All this seems reasonable — and neccessary.
