Rushing Yards Per Attempt

"Nick Chubb: 5.2 Y/A Rashaad Penny: 5.1 Y/A Justin Jackson & Jordan Wilkins: 4.9 Y/A Saquon Barkley: 4.7 Y/A Ronald Jones: 4.5 Y/A Boston Scott & Chase Edmonds: 4.4 Y/A Kerryon Johnson, Sony Michel, Bo Scarbrough: 4.3 Y/A"

Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb takes first place in the first category, as he has been an absolute monster with the ball so far in the NFL. Averaging 5.2 yards per carry is extremely good in the NFL, especially for how much he gets the ball. Running back is one of those positions where your success is really dependent on your offensive line, especially with this statistic.

However, Chubb deserves just as much credit for his 5.2 yards per carry as his offensive line.

For those who are anti-paying running backs, you may notice that Saquon Barkley, the 2nd overall pick in this draft class was actually 5th (considering Justin Jackson and Jordan Wilkins tied for third). There’s no such thing as a sure bet in the NFL, but you see that this list is covered with 1st round and 7th round draft picks.

Sony Michel was the 31st overall pick in this draft class and he is tied with Bo Scarbrough, the former Alabama phenom who was taken 236th overall by the Cowboys. While Bo didn’t get any carries with the Cowboys, he did have a good short stint with the Lions where he was their bell-cow for half a season.
