Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Devin Bush is the latest member of their team to set their sights on the Cleveland Browns, and he thinks he can guard Jarvis Landry

Last year, the Pittsburgh Steelers decided to talk about the Cleveland Browns.

The Cleveland Browns, decided to let their play talk. That led to back-to-back wins in Week 17 to put Cleveland in the playoffs, and then in the Wild Card round when they knocked the Steelers out of those aforementioned playoffs.

When all was said and done, the Steelers continued to do what they do best and kept talking. Specifically, wide receiver Chase Claypool decided to say losing wasn’t that bad because the Browns weren’t going to beat Kansas City — but hey, at least they got the opportunity while he was at home.

Now in preparation for the 2021 season, we see Pittsburgh is already back in postseason form as they’re once again talking about Cleveland. This time, it was linebacker Devin Bush who was asked about covering wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

And in typical Steelers fashion, Bush didn’t say we would have to wait to see if such an opportunity arrived for him to answer that. Instead, he decided to say he could “one hundred percent” guard the Cleveland wide receiver in the slot.

In fairness to Bush, the question kind of set him up. There’s probably no player in the NFL who isn’t going to answer yes to that question, but at this point the Steelers have to realize that they do themselves no favors by talking about other teams.

Last year, for example, Tik Tik star and part-time wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster made waves with his grammatically painful to hear (and even worse to type “the Browns is the Browns” comment. Billboards were put up making fun of that one which was followed by two straight victories from the team he was making fun of — and then Cleveland made fun of Smith-Schuster afterward with a video of their own.

Another funny aspect of this is how the Steelers are in camp preparing for the season and all they want to talk about is Cleveland. I mean, the talk in Berea surely isn’t about Devin Bush which is just an example of how this team is living rent-free in the heads of the Steelers.

3 things Cleveland Browns must do better in 2021. dark. Next

Cleveland and Pittsburgh don’t play until Halloween which is in Week 8. That should be an exciting game, especially if the Steelers are prepping for it now, even though there are nearly two months worth of games to play before that portion of the season.
