The Daily Dawg Tags bring you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, including Bernie Kosar talking about redemption for a reformed mobster

Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar recently made news when he offered to allow a former mobster to live in his home if an early release was granted. Kevin McTaggart was imprisoned in 1983 for his role in several mob killings and drug dealings.

He was a lieutenant for the Irishman, Danny Greene and was just 26 when he was sentenced. Now in his mid-60s, McTaggart is hoping to be released and Kosar is someone who has been in his corner trying to preach forgiveness.

Now, Kosar has opened up to 3 News about why he believes a second chance should come for McTaggart.

That story and more can be found in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.

Where can “aggressive” Andrew Berry realistically improve Browns roster? — Jared Mueller, Browns Wire

"“First, it is always possible to improve a roster. While the offense seems set, if a big, fast receiver became available the Browns would have to take a look. They had some interest in Julio Jones before he was dealt to Tennessee.”"

Mueller looks all over the Browns roster and discusses where Berry could improve the team. The fun part is, Cleveland’s roster is already immensely talented so none of the positions are really weaknesses. Instead, he’s looking where they can get better if Berry wanted to get aggressive.

Cleveland Browns fate rests on shoulders of Joe Woods

Joe Woods took a lot of heat for the team’s struggles on defense in 2020, but now he has nearly a whole new set of starters to work with this season. It will be up to him now to make sure the star players can work as a cohesive unit.
