The Cleveland Browns will look to win the AFC North for the first time ever, but there will be plenty of competition from other teams.

The Cleveland Browns are now full throttle into their 2022 training camp. Fans enjoyed their first weekend of access to the team practices, and it sounds like a ruling on the Deshaun Watson suspension is coming soon.

The 2021 season was full of high hopes but ended in disappointment with one too many injuries and dysfunction in the clubhouse.  With the Baker Mayfield era finally behind the organization, it feels like the future is brighter than ever.

Pittsburgh Steelers Preview:

For the first time since 2003, the Pittsburgh Steelers will begin the season without Ben Roethlisberger as their starting quarterback. The Hall of Fame quarterback had declined the last few seasons but always had the Browns number.

It’s easy to think that the Steelers will have a down year as they look for a quarterback for the first time in nearly two decades, but I love the addition of Mitchell Trubisky. I think he was given a raw deal in Chicago and could be one of the biggest surprises in the NFL in 2022.

We Browns fans hate to admit it, but the Steelers organization is one of the best ran programs in all of the professional sports. They just find a way to win and Mike Tomlin continues to be one of the top coaches in the NFL.

I would love to sit here and say that they are finally due for a five-win season, but I’m just not sold that will happen. I do think they will struggle in the extremely competitive AFC North, but they will still squeak out seven or eight wins but likely finish in the basement of the division.

This team overspent on Big Ben for years, and now they will need a few years to get the roster back to an extremely competitive form. It will be a down year for the Steelers, but not nearly as bad as we Browns fans would love to see.
