Wide Receiver No. 3: Will Fuller

Will Fuller is the wide receiver with the most experience having played with Deshaun Watson when they were teammates with the Houston Texans, and he might have the inside track if the Browns look again outside the current group of players at training camp. In his last campaign in Houston, Fuller caught 53 passes for 879 yards and eight touchdowns.

During one game in the 2019 season, Fuller and Watson had a monumental game together. The Texans were playing the Atlanta Falcons and won the game 53-32. The eye-opening performances by Watson and Fuller were impressive. Fuller caught 14 passes for 217 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.

Overall, they totaled 11 games in their time together where Fuller went for over 100 yards receiving.

That chemistry between the two players could be a winning combination again. The cost to bring Fuller to Cleveland probably wouldn’t be too much. He played down in Miami with the Dolphins last year, however, he really wasn’t effective after having some early season injuries. He likely missed having played down in Houston with Watson. Now Fuller waits to sign with some team.

Many of us thought Fuller would sign with the Browns months ago because of the connection to Watson, but it has happened yet. What’s been the hang-up? Time will tell but keep an eye out for this possible pick-up.
