Wide Receiver No. 2: T.Y. Hilton

T.Y. Hilton, a former Indianapolis Colts wideout, is still a free agent and even at the age of 32, he might be an interesting possibility if the Browns want to spend a bit more money on a player.

Hilton made $8 million last season and while he would surely like to find a contract in the same ballpark, he could also be willing to take less than this considering there hasn’t been much interest in his services right now.

A 10-year veteran, Hilton has seen a decline in production but he still has the talent to get the job done when the ball comes his way.

Another plus is his experience working with Jacoby Brissett, who could be starting the entire season for Cleveland.

Hilton is a four-time Pro Bowler and led the NFL in receiving yards back in 2016 with 1,448. He’s had five seasons with over 1,000 yards receiving and caught 53 touchdowns in his career.

Adding a player like Hilton might seem to some as a move not needed, but he’s also a veteran with many years of excellent football play and he could help a young core of younger wide receivers that Cleveland has now. Outside of Amari Cooper, there isn’t a real solid veteran wide receiver on the team.
