Browns full season prediction post-53-man roster
By Randy Gurzi
Week 9, Nov. 6: Bye
A well-timed bye gives the Browns a break after a couple of tough divisional games. Then, the gauntlet continues with two AFC Est contenders followed by Tom Brady and the Bucs.
Week 10, Nov. 13: Browns at Dolphins
Miami went out this season and added Tyreek Hill, which was a huge win for them. The problem is, Tua Tagovailoa hasn’t proven he can lead the team just yet — even with Hill claiming he’s more accurate than Patrick Mahomes.
Brissett also knows this defense well, playing them in practice often last season when he was the backup to Tagovailoa. He will make just enough plays as the defense forces several turnovers to set up another York winner.
Prediction: Cleveland 20, Miami 17
Week 11, Nov. 20: Browns at Bills
The Bills are loaded on both sides of the ball. Josh Allen will also be a man on a mission after losing a lead with just 13 seconds left in the Divisional Round last season. Cleveland’s defense is good but they struggle with pass-catching tight ends and mobile quarterbacks, which Buffalo has.
Prediction: Buffalo 38, Cleveland 24
Week 12, Nov. 27: Browns vs. Bucs
Brady is still the best in the game. He’s going to move the ball against any defense and it will be tough for the Cleveland offense to keep up. Tampa Bay has gotten younger and more explosive on defense and in the end, it’s too much for the road team.
Prediction: Tampa Bay 27, Cleveland 20
Record in November: 1-2
Overall Record: 5-6
