Nearly every starter on Browns defensive line is on Week 4 injury report
By Randy Gurzi
The Cleveland Browns are going to have a tough task ahead of them as their entire defensive line is struggling to stay healthy heading into Week 4
It’s becoming a theme and not a good one in Berea. Once again, the Cleveland Browns enter the weekend with a huge list of players who are dealing with injuries while their Week 4 opponent is fairly healthy.
Cleveland currently has designations on just four players but their list of those who have missed time in practice this week is rather extensive — and three of them are starters on the defensive line. As for the Falcons, Cordarelle Patterson is listed as questionable, and that’s their only player on the entire report.
As of Saturday morning, Taven Bryan is listed as out but Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney could join him as well. If so, the Browns will be leaning on several younger players on the defensive line, including rookies Alex Wright and Perrion Winfrey.
Garrett, who was injured in a car accident on Monday, escaped any major injuries but it would still be surprising to see him suit up. Clowney already missed Week 3 and it’s unfortunately been the norm for him to miss a few weeks every year as he’s constantly had durability concerns throughout his career.
With all that being said, let’s dive in and look at the injury report heading into Week 4.

Key players missed practices
While only a few names made the list, Cleveland has seen Joel Bitonio, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, David Njoku, and Denzel Ward all miss practice time with injuries. Hopefully these were all precautionary and nothing to be worried about on Sunday.
UPDATE: Myles Garrett has been recently downgraded to OUT.
