The Cleveland Browns defense has struggled at a few positions which could lead them to address those holes in next April’s NFL Draft.

With the holes in the Cleveland Browns defense resulting in teams running the football at will against them, it’s clear that general manager Andrew Berry must address it next offseason.

The team has tried going with more passing defense in the modern NFL but has seen that the ineptitude against the run won’t get it done. Let’s look at a full 2023 mock draft that sees the team plugging some of these holes.

Cleveland Browns 2nd round pick No. 47- Tyler Davis, defensive tackle, Clemson

It is not a stretch to say that currently, the Browns’ defensive tackles are some of the worst in the entire NFL. They need to add some beef in the middle of the line that can make plays in both the run and pass attack and that’s exactly what they get in Clemson’s Tyler Davis.

Standing at 6-foot-2 and 300 pounds he has great size and strength to anchor the middle of the line and clog the rush lanes. He also shows great burst and athleticism for a man of that size and has a major impact on the passing game as well.

As a freshman in 2019, he tallied 6.5 sacks from the position so he is capable of making big plays. Overall he is just everything the Browns are lacking at the position and could make a great addition playing next to Myles Garrett in Cleveland.
