Browns injury report Week 14: Amari Cooper questionable against Bengals
By Randy Gurzi
The Cleveland Browns head to Cincinnati to face the Bengals. Their injury report is very limited but does have one big star listed as questionable.
It’s the second meeting of the season between the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals. The first meeting was in Week 8 which happened to be on Halloween and on Monday Night Football.
Cleveland won 32-13 and the Bengals are still trying to get Joe Burrow his first win over their in-state rival. Burrow has led his team to four wins in a row with the most impressive coming last week when they knocked off the Kansas City Chiefs.
Now at 8-4, they look to keep pace with the Baltimore Ravens in the race for the AFC North title. As for Cleveland, they’re 5-7 and still find themselves clinging to playoff hope. They can’t afford any missteps which means a win here would be huge. But they could find themselves looking for that win without one of their best players.
Cleveland has a limited injury report for Week 14 with just Amari Cooper showing up. He comes into the weekend with a questionable designation due to a hip injury.
When the two teams met last time, Cooper had five receptions for 131 yards and one touchdown. Should he miss time, Donovan Peoples-Jones would be the No. 1 guy and thankfully, he’s been much improved this season.
They would then have to turn to David Bell who has been limited in practice all week due to a thumb injury. Head coach Kevin Stefanski says he should be fine though, which is good considering Cooper is ailing and Anthony Schwartz was just placed on the injured reserve.
Here is the injury report for each team courtesy of the team’s official website.
