Fresh off Sunday’s disappointing loss, the Cleveland Browns will be managing some new injuries this week as they look to turn the page and get ready for a showdown with the rival Baltimore Ravens at Huntington Bank Field.

The Browns were without some key players in Sunday’s 17-12 loss to the New York Jets, but they got some notable relief efforts. Head coach Todd Monken shouted out veteran Sam Kamara, who was elevated from the practice squad, played 40 defensive snaps, and recorded his first career sack against the Jets in place of Mike Hall Jr.

Second-year pro Adin Huntington also played well in what was the first start of his career.

The Browns are going to need more of the same from their young depth pieces against one of the AFC’s best in the Baltimore Ravens — especially with key players like Carson Schwesinger and Quinshon Judkins picking up new injuries during the game.

Latest injury updates give Browns an extra layer of concern entering Ravens week

Mason Graham has ‘decent shot’ to return in Week 6

While the Browns got excellent interior defensive line play against the Jets, head coach Todd Monken hinted that both Graham (knee) and Mike Hall Jr. (ankle) have a chance to return this week against Baltimore.

Monken told reporters Monday that he's not ruling any of the Browns’ injured players out for Week 6, meaning those currently on injured reserve and in practice windows, like quarterback Dillon Gabriel and veteran defensive tackle Kalia Davis, have a chance to be activated.

Graham is dealing with an MCL sprain and is considered week-to-week, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The fact that he avoided the injured reserve list, which would require him to miss a minimum of four games, was already a positive.

Browns beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot wrote on Cleveland.com that Graham has a “decent shot” to play against the Ravens after progressing well since the initial injury back on Oct. 1 against the Steelers. He did not participate in any of the team’s three practices last week, so even a limited session on Wednesday could put him on track to return.

Tylan Wallace (knee), Carsen Ryan (calf), and Teven Jenkins (back) were all ruled out on Friday of last week but could have a chance to do more at practices this week.

Quinshon Judkins day-to-day after ‘tweaking’ his ankle against Jets

Browns running back Quinshon Judkins was seen wearing a walking boot on his right leg following Sunday’s loss to the Jets.

Monken downplayed the injury, calling it day-to-day, but given the state of Cleveland’s running game, it’s definitely a concern. Compounding matters, No. 2 running back Raheim Sanders was limited to just three carries after picking up a hip injury against the Jets.

Dylan Sampson remains on IR, but Monken said there’s a “possibility” his 21-day practice window opens this week. Depending on how much Judkins is able to do in practice this week, the Browns could need Sampson.

Carson Schwesinger dealing with Grade 1 ankle sprain

Schwesinger has demonstrated a high pain threshold for the Browns. During his rookie year in 2025, he was able to play through a high-ankle sprain without missing a game after rehabbing the injury during the Browns’ bye week.

The Browns could have a tough decision to make on Schwesinger this week. He’ll likely push to play against the Ravens, but his importance to the defense can’t be overstated. Schwesinger is Cleveland’s only player to log 100 percent of the defensive snaps through five games.

Schwesinger’s availability could come down to the risk of reinjury and making the ankle sprain worse over pain tolerance.
