The Cleveland Browns have worked wonders with their draft capital over the past couple of years. They've found multiple starters through the NFL Draft, and they look like a team on the rise with only one glaring concern.
Once again, the Browns' underwhelming quarterback room is threatening to hold them back. Todd Monken might spice things up with his creative schemes and play-calling, and the team has no shortage of playmakers, but they're still subpar at the sport's most important position.
Based on their Super Bowl odds, Bleacher Report projects Cleveland to land right back near the top of the 2027 NFL Draft.
This time, however, they may finally land their franchise quarterback in Oregon's Dante Moore, B/R's projected No. 4 overall pick.
"Moore is a pure pocket passer with natural mechanics," B/R scout Dame Parson said. "His game is predicated on accuracy, ball placement and poise, bringing a calm demeanor in big moments and, hopefully, to the Browns offense.
"The 21-year-old's strengths should mesh well with the newly drafted receiving talent the Browns added over the last two draft classes in KC Concepcion, Denzel Boston, Isaiah Bond and tight end Harold Fannin Jr."

There's a lot to like about Moore as a prospect. For starters, the fact that he chose to transfer from UCLA to Oregon, knowing that he would be a backup, showed maturity and self-awareness to know that he still had plenty to work on.
He then made the same call by returning to college football despite being a projected top-three pick in 2026. He could have even challenged Fernando Mendoza for the No. 1 overall pick.
Staying in college isn't always a bad decision, and hopefully his continued growth will be evident in 2026.
Moore is the best pure passer in the 2027 class. His pocket presence is already ahead of schedule. He plays with great poise, resets in the pocket when his first read isn't available, and throws an accurate deep ball.
He also knows how to layer throws and can make every pass on the field. While he didn't look great under pressure against Indiana last year, he usually makes great reads before the snap and makes the right decision, even if that means getting rid of the ball quickly to avoid negative plays.
Moore has a short memory and rarely tries to play hero ball. He's impressively accurate, and while he has a bazooka for an arm, he also excels with touch when the play requires it. He's an old-school gunslinger who will dice up defenses from the shotgun.
On a negative note, his limited athleticism and mobility eliminate a potential scrambling threat. He did rush for 156 yards and two touchdowns last year, but he won't make a lot of noise with his legs at the next level. Beyond that, he's one of the most complete quarterback prospects in the class.
Moore led the Ducks to a 13-2 record last season, with both losses coming against the eventual champions, the Indiana Hoosiers. He completed 71.8 percent of his passes for 3,565 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 10 picks.
The Browns have playmakers, and Moore could certainly be the type of quarterback this offense needs, even if he's not the dual-threat that Monken typically covets at the position.
