Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the news you need to know in order to keep up with your Cleveland Browns, including a visit from defensive back Simeon Thomas

The Cleveland Browns are doing their due diligence. With nine picks in the upcoming draft, they keep using their 30 allotted national visitors to focus on players who could be available in just about any round. They’ve already made their rounds with some of the best young quarterback prospects and even looked at Antonio Callaway — the Florida receiver who was suspended all of 2017.

Now they reportedly are looking at players who could be around much later in the draft like defensive back Simeon Thomas of Louisiana-Lafayette. Thomas.

The 6-foot-3, 197-pound Thomas had two career picks and 19 pass deflections for the Cajuns and likely draws interest for his size and willingness to play physically.

As Wilson points out, Thomas has a lot of athletic upside, with ideal size and speed but remains on the draft’s fringes; however, unlike some outliers the Browns have met with, his red flags are few, making him an intriguing Day 3 option if not a priority undrafted free agent rookie."
