The Cleveland Browns offense was struggling with Todd Haley as the offensive coordinator, and it was obvious that a change needed to be made.

Freddie Kitchens took over as offensive coordinator, and his offense has been a breath of fresh air for Browns fans.

No longer are the Browns running multiple play-action passes designed for a shot downfield, resulting in a sack. Instead, the Browns are using creative ways to move the ball downfield and at a quick pace.

Under Kitchens, the entire Browns offensive unit has looked much comfortable, including Baker Mayfield. With Kitchens as his offensive coordinator, Mayfield’s game has quickly improved.

It is important to note how well Mayfield has played with Kitchens calling the plays. To have a coach tailor his offense to Mayfield’s strengths in his rookie season will only help the rookies development, and Kitchens has done just that.

Mayfield has the star power necessary that will allow him to make a massive, positive impact in Northeast Ohio and throughout the entire country. Already in his young career, Mayfield is already helping to make a difference in Ohio.
