3. Browns win in the trenches

If you study any week of game film for any NFL team, 99 percent of the time the winning team wins on both sides of the trenches. While the quarterbacks, receivers, and defensive backs get all of the attention, the offensive and defensive linemen are the ones deciding the outcome of a game.

While the Eagles have a strong defensive line, that is perhaps the biggest strength of the Browns. Bill Callahan has continued to develop and scheme better than any other offensive line coach in the league. Fans will see a lot of outside zones and tosses to begin the game to get them running side to side, but by the end of the game, you will see the power plays starting to go for 10 plus yards per carry, as the defense wears down.

The Browns defensive line has struggled at times vs. powerful offensive lines, but luckily enough, the Eagles offensive line has been as bad as any in the league. A lot of that is contributing from so many injuries, but it likely won’t be any better on Sunday.

Cleveland will score enough points and cause enough problems up the middle to take away the running game, and then look for Myles Garrett to clean up on the outside with a multiple sack game extremely possible. The Browns defense hasn’t been great but look for the defensive line and offensive line to be a huge part of a win on Sunday.
