3. Foyesade Oluokun, Linebacker

There’s no doubt that linebacker has been the worst position on the Browns roster this season. The play has been suspect, which we all knew would be the case coming into the season.

Their top players have been B.J. Goodson and Malcolm Smith, but neither are under contract for 2021. That means as it stands now, Mack Wilson, Jacob Phillips, and Sione Takitaki are the projected starters next year unless a move is made.

It’s a safe bet that general manager Andrew Berry will go out and try to revamp the spot, much like he did with the offensive tackle position in 2020. Of course, if they keep Joe Woods as the defensive coordinator, there might still be a de-emphasis on linebacker, but they still need players capable of stepping up.

That’s what brings us to Foyesade Oluokun of the Atlanta Falcons. Oluokun was a sixth-round pick of the Falcons back in 2018 and has been a contributor since day one. He had 91 tackles as a rookie and added 62 in 2019. Then in 2020, he had a breakout season when he became a full-time starter.

Oluokun has 98 tackles, three sacks, and a pick this season but he’s really stood out when it comes to forcing fumbles. On the year, he has four forced fumbles — three of which came in their Week 2 contest against the Dallas Cowboys. Oluokun would be a welcome addition to the Browns and with Atlanta changing their coaching staff, they could be willing to make some moves.
