2. Jamison Crowder, Buffalo Bills

Not too long ago, Jamison Crowder was one of the best slot receivers in the NFL. During his four years with Washington, he had 221 receptions for 2,628 yards and 14 touchdowns. He then joined the New York Jets, where he spent the next three seasons of his career.

While in New York, Crowder had another 188 receptions for 1,979 yards and 14 touchdowns. His best season was in 2019 when he had 78 catches for 833 yards and six scores.

This offseason, he stayed in the AFC East, joining the Buffalo Bills. The problem is that he’s found himself in a crowded offense. Josh Allen is having an MVP-caliber season but is spreading the ball to several players, including Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davis, Isaiah McKenzie, and Dawson Knox. Even running back Devin Singletary has gotten in on the action, pulling down 13 passes to start the season.

That’s left Crowder on the outside, looking in as just nine passes have been thrown in his direction and he’s caught five for 53 yards. He has been used on punt returns but limiting him to special teams feels like a waste of talent.

In Cleveland, he would have more opportunities and could be a huge help. Having said that, it might take one of their safeties, such as Ronnie Harrison, Jr., to make this happen ‚— and the Bills might be tempted since injuries have depleted this position for them.

If Joe Woods believes in the depth they have, it could be a win for both teams to make a swap.
