facebooktwitterreddit

On Thursday Night Football the Cleveland Browns face off with the Cincinnati Bengals. The winner of the game will sit atop the AFC North. Both teams are missing a ton of starters which could lead to a sloppy game. The weather won’t help the quality of play either.

Here are our quarterly thoughts for Thursday Night Football:

1st Quarter     2nd Quarter     3rd Quarter

  • Ben Tate can’t pick up the first on 3rd and 1.
    • Browns go with an outside run which is stopped.
    • Punt is a touchback.
  • Bengals get over midfield quickly.
  • Bad pass by Andy Dalton leads to a Buster Skrine INT.
    • Skrine with a nice return as Bengals players give less than full effort.
  • On 3rd and 7 Brian Hoyer hits Miles Austin for a first down.
    • Savvy vet Austin finishes the play to get just enough to get the first.
  • Browns in field goal range after a nice short drive.
    • Bengals start using their timeouts. Have two left with 8:01 left in the game.
    • Wind pushes Billy Cundiff‘s kick just right. Tough 44 yard attempt.
    • Still Browns 24 Bengals 3

More from Dawg Pound Daily

  • Andy Dalton continues to throw terrible passes.
